Help Women Use Their Power

Thank you for being inspired by AMARA and choosing to support women survivors of war.

From a single donation to sponsoring a sister, your generous donation will help provide women living in some of the world's most dangerous places with the social and economic skills to transform their lives. They will pass on this knowledge to those around them, helping other women realise their power.

HOW CAN YOU SUPPORT US?

One-Time Donation

Your generous donation will help provide women living in some of the world's most dangerous places with the social and economic skills to transform their lives. When women claim their power, they reinvest it in their families, their communities, and their countries, creating a world that’s more equal, peaceful, and prosperous.

Monthly Donation

Your regular commitment helps us to plan for the long term – knowing we can count on your monthly gift gives our teams in countries like Afghanistan, the DRC and South Sudan the confidence to plan ahead, try out new approaches and be as reactive as possible to give support to the women who need it the most.

Sponsor a Sister

Form a friendship that transcends continents. For £22 a month you can sponsor a woman through our 12 month Stronger Women, Stronger Nations programme. Your new 'sister' will learn about four key topics; her health, rights, business skills and potential support networks.

Grace and Hadiza are two brave women who are challenging norms and making their voices heard as they advocate for change in their communities in northern Nigeria. Using radio, they are helping women to speak up against gender-based violence and empowering them to get the medical and legal support . Graduates from the Stronger Women, Stronger Nations Programme, these two women are an example of what can be achieved when women believe in the #PowerToChange accepted norms.
