Leadership Circle
Join the leadership circle
The Leadership Circle is the philanthropy group of Women for Women International (WfWI). It is a global network of supporters, whose annual donations provide a stable source of funding to help women survivors of war build better lives for themselves, their families, and communities.
A sense of community and a unifying desire to make a positive impact on the lives of women survivors of conflict are at the heart of its success and its combined power to change the world, one woman at a time. Leadership Circle members are committed to supporting our charitable mission and global commitment in an impactful way with their donations, time, expertise, and networks. The support of our members is truly life-changing for the women we serve.
Commitment Levels
We are committed to creating long-term partnerships with Leadership Circle members. Each member will pledge an annual gift for three years. This means that together we will see sustainable impact in the lives of the women in our programmes. Leadership Circle members support with unrestricted funding, enabling us to build and expand our programmes based on the needs of the women we serve. It also allows us to respond flexibly and efficiently wherever the need is greatest. A dedicated member of our Philanthropy team will work alongside you to ensure we meet our shared goals.
There are three levels of commitment that create different degrees of impact. Gifts over £3,000 will help us achieve the greatest impact for the women we serve. Get in touch to find out more about the Leadership Circle and our commitments to you.

With your Leadership Circle membership you can support women like Shireen
Shireen is a graduate of the Stronger Women, Stronger Nations programme in Iraq.
“I loved it when I walked across the stage and received my certificate. When they read my name and I stepped up to the stage, I was thinking ‘I will open a shop’ and this certificate will be framed on the wall of my shop.…And, if a customer tries to tell me that my sewing is not professional, I would respond ‘what do you mean? I have a certificate now. So, how is it not good?'”
I have always felt, in these last ten years of my involvement with Women for Women International, that not only do we help the women in our programmes gain skills, confidence and a 'Sisterhood' among themselves. We too, in helping them, become a Sisterhood as well.
