7-night Gorilla Trekking and Wildlife Safari for two people – a once-in-a-lifetime Rwandan experience, carefully curated by Journeys by Design.
Extra special to this trip is an opportunity to visit the Women for Women International training and visitors centre in Urugo, which our programme graduates use as a base for many of their businesses.
The Centre serves as a central meeting place that bridges the gap between urban buyers and rural farmers and provides a permanent space for training participants in life skills and business, and for use by members of the community.
This awe-inspiring trip will commence at Kigali Serena Hotel. Onwards, spend three nights at Magashi, a new and sumptuous six-tented camp overlooking Lake Rwanyakzinga, home to one of Africa’s highest hippo densities, crocodiles, and (hidden within its wetlands) the secretive sitatunga and the extremely rare shoebill stork.
Finally, relax in style at Bisate Lodge, located on the southern border of the Volcanoes National Park, ideally situated for witnessing one of the most extraordinary wildlife sights in the world, the Park’s gorilla and golden monkey population.

The Donor

- Prize is valid 1 year to November 2019. Booking is subject to availability and not Christmas and New Year.
- Not redeemable for cash and is non-transferrable to third parties.
- Note there is a minimum age for gorilla tracking of 15 years old
- Travel costs not included, assistance will be provided by Journeys by Design to coordinate flights
