Munroe Bergdorf
Munroe Bergdorf was the first transgender model to be selected to take part in a national beauty campaign, a project that would promote diversity and inclusiveness.
As an icon in an age of increasing social awareness, Munroe uses her sizeable profile to advocate for a fairer world and to empower individuals to fight for positive change. She has spoken at several key panels on diversity and race including those at Oxford, Cambridge and Princeton Universities, and most recently the Teen Vogue Summit.
She fronted campaigns for Illamasqua, Missguided and Rayban, closed shows at New York and London Fashion Weeks and has been featured in numerous global publications including Vogue and The Sunday Times Style.
Munroe regularly appears on national and international television news to comment on race, diversity, gender and LGBTQ+ topics and writes for publications including Grazia, i-D, them.us, Paper Magazine, The Evening Standard, and The Guardian. Now soon after scooping up ‘Changemaker of the Year’ at the 2018 Cosmopolitan Awards, Munroe’s first film ‘What Makes A Woman’ premiered on Channel 4.
