Monica Vinader is a female-founded, award-winning jewellery brand which has been supporting Women for Women International since 2015. The brand's founder and CEO is a proud Women for Women International Ambassador, commited to raising awareness for our work. We are so proud of everything our partnership has achieved and are grateful for Monica Vinader’s ongoing commitment to women survivors of war.
International Day of Friendship 2023
This year Monica Vinader is supporting us in marking International Day of Friendship on the 30th July by donating £10,000 alongside the launch of their engravable ‘Linear Mini Friendship Bracelet’. This donation will help marginalised women create brighter futures for themselves, their families and their communities. The Monica Vinader team are also participating in our #MessageToMySister campaign, letting women survivors of war know that they are not alone.
International Women’s Day
In 2022 Monica Vinader supported us for International Women’s Day by donating 100% of sales from their ‘Togetherness’ necklace on the 7th and 8th March. They supported us once again in March 2023, donating 25% of sales from the Keshi cocktail earrings in their stunning Mother of Pearl collaboration between 6th March and 5th April. The funds raised by Monica Vinader help to provide women in our programmes with the #PowerToChange their lives, enabling them to learn a vocation to earn a living such as jewellery making.
Monica Vinader's support in 2020
To mark International Women’s Day in 2020, Monica Vinader collaborated with another Women for Women International partner, Papier, to create a set of notebooks and notecards. 11% of sales from each product were donated to our work in some of the world’s most dangerous places.
Monica Vinader further supported Women for Women International by donating a percentage of sales on key dates such as International Friendship Day and Giving Tuesday and participated in our Virtual Car Boot Sale.
It is an honour to support Women for Women International. Every woman has the right to thrive, and this organisation provides the help needed to make that vision a reality, in extremely challenging circumstances.
2019 – A YEAR OF ACTIVITY
Throughout 2019, Monica Vinader provided year-long support to Women for Women International. In March, Monica Vinader celebrated International Women’s Day by participating in the #MessageToMySister campaign, writing messages of friendship to the women we serve.
In October, five members of the Monica Vinader team took part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon, proudly donning Women for Women International running vests and raising £2,700. Monica Vinader generously sponsored the #SheInspiresMe Lunch in November, and celebrated Giving Tuesday by donating 10% of online and in-store sales, raising an incredible £10,000 for women survivors of war!
NURA FRIENDSHIP BRACELET
In 2018, Monica Vinader celebrated their 10-year anniversary by introducing a new bracelet to their iconic friendship collection in aid of Women for Women International. The Nura Friendship bracelet was a statement piece created in support of women around the globe. 50% of profits from the Nura Friendship bracelet were donated to Women for Women International. The bracelet could be engraved with inspirational words, positive quotes and dedications to share the message of sisterhood. Sales from the Nura Friendship bracelet raised an incredible £90,000 for our vital work.
#SHEINSPIRESME FRIENDSHIP BRACELET
In 2015, Monica Vinader designed the beautiful #SheInspiresMe Friendship Bracelet exclusively for Women for Women International. The bracelet featured a delicate rose gold ellipse and fine silver metallic cord, which represents strength. The words #SheInspiresMe were etched on the reverse, and customers were invited to add the name of a woman who is a personal inspiration to the front.
