Ivonne's Story
Ivonne, from Birava in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, explains that Women for Women International brought her community of women together.

The Stronger Women, Stronger Nations programme taught Ivonne and her community about women’s rights and business. She also learned how to read, write and invest her money. A new skill that Ivonne learned is bread making. Before, she used to have to travel to a different city to buy bread, but now she can make it herself. With the money she has earned from bread making, she can pay for her kid’s school fees. Ivonne appreciates that she no longer has to depend on a man for support.
Let this not be the end, and do keep in mind that whatever you send us, we receive it. Thank you very much.
