HELP WOMEN SURVIVORS OF WAR BUILD BRIGHTER FUTURES

In times of war and conflict, women experience unimaginable trauma and loss. They are then left with the greatest burden in the aftermath – taking on the role of caregiver and breadwinner, providing for their families and rebuilding their communities.

Women for Women International works with some of the world’s most marginalised women. We help women survivors of war to earn a livelihood, to reclaim their rights and to build stronger, more peaceful nations.

The need has never been greater.

It has probably become more dangerous to be a woman than a soldier in an armed conflict.

MAJOR GENERAL PATRICK CAMMAERT, FORMER UN PEACEKEEPING COMMANDER
