Marking the International Day for the Elimination of Conflict-Related Sexual Violence

virtual panel discussion on Tuesday, 17th June 2025

Hosted by our International Board Chair, Nunu Ntshingila, our panel will shed light on this pervasive war crime and crime against humanity, which continues to destroy lives and terrorise communities across the globe. Our panel will also celebrate courageous people in Syria, South Sudan and Ukraine who are daring to act – to stand up against the status quo, speak out despite stigma and bring change, even in the most dangerous contexts.

Join us to hear from these formidable panellists and to ask them your questions on the topic during our live Q+A:

Learn more about our work

Violence against women is one of the biggest blocks to the realisation of women’s rights. For the women we serve, gender-based violence is complex and often drives them further into isolation. We are working with the international community to understand what works to prevent violence against women.
