Our Ambassadors

Women for Women International's ambassadors play a key role in helping women survivors of war rebuild their lives. Ambassadors use their platform to raise the voices of the women we serve and shine a light on the issues faced by women in some of the world's most dangerous places.

MyAnna Buring

MyAnna has been an Ambassador for Women for Women International for several years, first joining us in raising awareness of violence against women with a one-off performance of True in the Eve Ensler collection of monologues – A Memory, A Monologue, a Rant and a Prayer in March 2012. She has since gone to represent us at events and, during the ICAP Charity Day, helped raise enough to support 140 women through our programme in South Sudan.

The work that Women for Women International does in reshaping the role of a victim into one of an empowered human being, with rights and tools to support and play an active role in society, is invaluable. Each and every woman and man involved creates a ripple effect of hopeful and positive change.
