Birthday fundraising
Happy Birthday!
How to set up a birthday fundraiser
It's really easy to fundraise for women survivors of war by creating a fundraiser on JustGiving or Facebook for your friends and family to donate to. All donations automatically come to Women for Women International so you can focus on celebrating your special day.
If you have any questions please get in touch with Daisy at dbessell@womenforwomen.org and she will support you with organising your birthday fundraiser.
Why set up a birthday fundariser for women survivors of war?
By asking for donations for Women for Women International instead of presents you can help women living in some of the world's most dangerous places transform their lives.
Your birthday fundraiser could help women gain the social and economic skills to build a better future for themselves and their families.
531,498 women survivors of war reached in 14 post-conflict countries
91% of women report educating another woman about her rights two years after graduation, compared to 61% at enrolment
85p of every £1 we raise supports women survivors of war
The programme has picked me up from the dust and placed me on a pedestal of hope and economic strength. It has enhanced my life beyond my wildest dreams and I am so grateful.
