#SHEINSPIRESME LUNCH 2021
Celebrating the inspiring power of women to change their worlds
Over 70 guests joined our #SheInspiresMe Lunch, this year sponsored by Jimmy Choo and Romilly Wilde, to hear guest speaker Waad al-Kateab, in conversation with our host BBC journalist and presenter Tina Daheley.
Waad’s high-risk and intimate reporting from Syria focused on the resilience and the untold stories of what life was really like for those caught in the crossfire. She spoke movingly about her experiences in Syria, documenting her life over five years in Aleppo, and the importance of creating a sense of sisterhood between women around the world.
