Nina Patel Trustee

Nina Patel is a technology executive focused on the luxury fashion industry, currently serving as Director of Innovation for Farfetch, the largest global online destination for luxury fashion. Nina began her career as a technology consultant at Accenture, delivering CRM projects for clients in the Telecommunications and Public Sectors.

In 2011 she shifted industries and career path to luxury fashion and has held roles at The Net-a-Porter Group, Harvey Nichols, eporta (acquired by Shopify), and now Farfetch. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and a Masters of Business Administration from London Business School.

Nina has previously served as the Vice Chair for Dress for Success Greater London, a charity focused on women’s empowerment where she served as a trustee 2015-18. In addition to trustee work she advocates for women, and in particular minority women, through her business mentorship, formal advisory, and angel investing.

Nina was born in the UK to Indian parents who both emigrated from East Africa. Her family then moved to the USA when she was 11 years old and she moved back to the UK in 2011 in order to pursue her luxury fashion career. Her international upbringing has instilled a true love for travel and she has visited more than 50 countries and is looking forward to visiting Antarctica, the only continent she hasn't managed to step foot on yet.
