Thank you for dancing with us!

On Sunday, 25th of June, we invited you to #ShakeItInSisterhood at our first ever Danceathon, in partnership with SOS Dance at Siobhan Davies Studios in London. We're in awe that despite the heat you made it through all six routines with the same energy and a smile on your face. Here are some photos and videos from the day to look back on!

Together, you have raised an incredible £20,914  for women survivors of war. Thanks to you, 79 women will be able to join our Stronger Women, Stronger Nations programme and gain the skills they need to build a brighter future for themselves and their families.

Thank you so much for joining us!

If you want to support our dancers, you can still donate to their fundraising pages, helping them to raise vital funds for women survivors of war.

Celebrating women's resilience

Our sisters in many of the countries we work in often celebrate milestones in our Stronger Women, Stronger Nations programme, including graduation, by coming together and dancing. We would love for you to do the same, and dance in celebration of the women in our programmes.

We need your help to reach even more marginalised women, help them realise their power and build a brighter future for themselves. So they too can dance with their classmates on graduation day and celebrate brighter days ahead.

About SOS Dance

Home to the world's most empowering dance classes

SOS Dance is a global dance brand on a mission to empower a generation of women to believe in themselves, using dance as a source of strength, power and confidence, which they can carry through into every aspect of their lives.

All routines are created by A-list dancers who work with the stars, such as JLo & Beyoncé, and classes are for all levels, including beginners! Here is an example of the type of routines you will be taught on the day.

Hear from our dancers

I'm NOT a dancer, far from it, in fact, I'm terrible at following choreography. I am also doing this alone (I'm an introvert) so this is totally out of my comfort zone! But what is that compared to what these women face following war?

It was amazing to be with so many women in sisterhood. Loved it! Had an amazing time!
