These are the responses from some of the women who received #MessageToMySister postcards. See the impact of your words.

For International Women's Day 2020, we asked you to send a message of hope, friendship, and sisterhood to a woman survivor of war.

Since launching in 2018, our #MessageToMySister campaign has received an incredible response. So far this year we have received more than 4,000 messages from 83 countries all over the world!

Your messages will then be translated and hand-delivered to women living in some of the world’s most dangerous places.

You can still join the global movement and send your #MessageToMySister today.

I used to work for others but today I have my own business which helps me to support my family.

Of course I believe. Our thoughts are the same and I am glad. I want us to succeed.

I appreciate your card and your words. The Women for Women International programme is very helpful I have started a trade using my stipend.

Every time I need more inspiration to keep me on during my obligations I read your words. It reminds me that somewhere in the world there is another woman who believes in me and my work.
