Festive Gift Sponsorship

How it works

Give the gift that creates a one-of-a-kind connection with a woman survivor of war

Sponsor a woman today and we will let your loved one know of your generous gift on their behalf in the New Year.

What's more, once we match your loved one with their new 'sister' in January, we will also send you both a Women for Women International tote bag, as an added thank you for your kind gift.

Your friend or loved one will be matched with their new sister as soon as possible in the new year! Once matched, they will receive an introduction email letting them know who their new sister is as well as details of how to access our supporter area, where they can view their new sister's details and her photo, if we are able to provide one.

As soon as we can safely reopen our office in the new year, we will also send your loved one their sponsorship welcome pack, containing additional information about their sister. As their sister proceeds through the training programme, we will send quarterly updates via email about her progress and what she has been learning.

If you give the gift of sponsorship to someone you love, they’ll be able to exchange letters and photos with their sponsored sister. They will form a connection that transcends continents by writing messages of support and encouragement to their sister via their own online supporter area. The women we serve deeply value this connection and treasure these words – for some, these messages can be an emotional lifeline.

I want to give the gift of sponsorship

£264 Will sponsor a sister through women for women international's year-long programme on behalf of your loved one

In January, your loved one will be matched with their sister. We’ll then send them an introduction email and details of how to access our supporter area, where they can view their sister's details and start sending messages of support.

As an added recognition of your generosity we have waived the standard £25 one-off administrative cost.
