Gillian Anderson is an award-winning film, television and theatre actress who has achieved global recognition for playing leading roles in The X-Files, The House of Mirth and the BBC adaptation of Charles Dickens’ Bleak House.
On stage, Gillian recently played Blanche DuBois in an adaptation of Tennessee Williams’ A Streetcar Named Desire at the Young Vic Theatre. Alongside her impressive achievements on stage and screen, Gillian is a supporter of social and environmental causes and is passionate about human and animal rights.
